Are your chocolates halal? Do they contain alcohol?Updated 8 months ago

All of our chocolates are vegetarian, but they are not certified as halal.  

Alcohol isn't an ingredient in our chocolates, however a trace amount of alcohol is used in the preparation of our vanilla extract (which is itself used in very small quantities).  And although all the alcohol should be driven off during the extraction process, we cannot guarantee that our chocolates won't contain residual traces.
