What is our philosophy at Russell and Atwell?Updated 8 months ago

A little while ago, we wrote a summary of what we're all about - we hope it helps...

When it comes to our products, we are all about quality and taste!  We use the best ingredients we can, sourced locally wherever possible, from small British businesses who are as passionate about their products as we are.  

Unlike most of the premium chocolate industry, we use simple but effective packaging, so more of our customers' money is focused on what goes into our product.

As well as making delicious chocolates, one of our core aims is to have a net positive impact as a business. To us, this encompasses everything from interactions with communities, paying (at least) the living wage to people who work for us and minimising the environmental impacts from the sourcing of our ingredients and packaging.  

As we grow, our decisions continue to be guided by these considerations and once we are fully established as a business, we aspire to achieve B Corp Certification which will legally require us to consider the impact of our decisions on workers, customers, suppliers, community, and the environment.
