What happens when it's hot?Updated 8 months ago

(** I have deliberately not used specific temperature references to keep it loose)

Given that our chocolates contain fresh cream (and no palm oil), they are a little more delicate than most!  So they do need to be kept chilled in the fridge - whatever the weather - to enjoy them at their best.

But in the summer, we watch the weather especially carefully. If it’s sunny and getting warm, we will usually pause shipping until the weather cools. But if your order is urgent and you're worried about the heat, then please use our 'Express plus ice' option for £4.99.  We pack the chocolates with an ice-pack and extra sizzle to keep them cool in transit – and we will post these special parcels out on all but the hottest days.

(** next bit to be finalised based on what is workable!)

We will make sure you’re notified by email and on our website, and that your chocolates are sent out to you as soon as possible. (this is taken from somewhere existing- can’t remember where!))

 OR

So, if the weather is hot, keep an eye on the homepage of the website -www.russellandatwell.com - and we’ll let you know what we’re shipping that day.  If there’s no mention, you can assume we’re shipping as normal.

If you want to upgrade your shipping, let us know asap on [email protected] and we’ll do our best!
