What happens when it's hot?Updated 23 days ago

Given that our chocolates contain fresh cream (and no palm oil), they are a little more delicate than most!  So they do need to be kept chilled in the fridge - whatever the weather - to enjoy them at their best.

In the summer, we watch the weather especially carefully. We pause 'Standard' delivery above about 22 degrees (we monitor the temperature both in Birmingham where we post from and across the country, anticipating SE England is usually hottest!

If your order is urgent and you're worried about the heat, then please use our 'Express', we will post up to 30°C, packing the chocolates on warm days with a reusable ice-pack and extra sizzle to keep them cool in transit.

So, if the weather is hot, keep an eye on the homepage of the website - www.russellandatwell.com - and we’ll let you know if we're in a hot pause.

If you want to upgrade your shipping, let us know asap on [email protected] and we’ll do our best!
